GIAC DSG Stage 2 Audi A3 8V TCU upgrade (7-speed)

We are pleased to present the GIAC DSG Stage 2 Audi A3 8V TCU upgrade (2013 - Present) with 2.0 Turbo TSI (Gen 3) engine. The Audi A3 8V TCU upgrade supports higher torque levels, faster shift speeds, and higher launch and rev limiters to ensure you get the most from your car. Matching this program with the GIAC engine calibration will give the best results. GIAC DSG performance software complements our performance engine calibrations. The installation process is very quick, using regular GIAC flashing tools through the OBDII port. Installation does not require removal of the DSG computer from the car at any time (an installation fee is additional).

DSG Stage 2 TCU upgrade

GIAC DSG Stage 2 TCU upgrade allows the transmission to hold higher torque levels with faster acceleration and quicker shifts.

The Audi A3 8V TCU upgrade is available for the following TCUs (feel free to stop by our shop to check yours): 0GC300020B, 0GC300020G.

Features:

• Faster, smoother transitions between gears at part and wide open throttle.
• Part throttle torque limiters for shifts modified to alleviate potential hard shifting due to exceeding torque limit.
• "Off the shelf" launch control limiter set at 3600 RPM for FWD to reduce wheel spin at higher torque levels.
• Launch control torque limits removed allowing full power launching and full clutch clamping pressure with launch control.
• Remapped Drive and Sport mode shift logic and slightly more aggressive gear holding strategies.
• Higher clutch clamping pressure at wide open throttle allows for 100% power delivery to the ground.
• Optimized torque limits to better match increased engine power with ECU performance software.
• Improved clutch pack transitions between shifts for cleaner shift feel.
• Manual mode kick-down disabled / Auto upshift still enabled.
• Improved upshift/downshift paddle response time.
• Gear indicator in all modes.
